CORRECTIVE EXERCISE and the myth of "Structural Integration"

The Muscular Defense System (MDS) activates when there's an injury or trauma to the Body. The muscles contract around the injured area in order to protect it. Depending on the type of injury, tension patterns result and are held in the Body's global Connective Tissue Fascia (CTF).
Tension can also be held from injuries other than physical ones, such as emotional, mental and Spiritual traumas. Regardless, if one aspect of our multi-dimensional anatomy is injured, ALL of what we are is affected and recorded in our CTF.
The CTF in its multi-dimensional, chaotic organization is designed when well hydrated to be slippery, glide & slide in-between all the layers of gross matter anatomy that is housed within it (such as our muscles, bones, organs, nerves...) When injuries and traumas are held in the Body, over time our CTF, which is akin to a full-gel-like-body-suit, will distort itself to accommodate residual tension, and lose its ability to be well hydrated, slippery and glide and nourish our Body with positive charge connectivity. Instead, the Body goes into a type of compaction, and creation of the 'pain body'.
CORRECTIVE EXERCISES
In my 25 years as a movement teacher, and as a student of healing & corrective movement I have engaged numerous corrective exercise systems that aim for 'structural integration'. As a platform to reorganize the Body's integrity. The issue I encountered in 90% of these movement systems, is this perspective focuses primarily on training muscles to 'balance joints'. When understanding that the health and performance of muscles, is reliant on the health and vitality of the layer before it (the CTF) it becomes clear that these corrective exercise systems are actually "locking in" traumas and tension that are at the root cause of the 'pain body'.
The CTF, will over time mold Itself from your thoughts, habits and overlayed trauma induced postures. Not only was I not clearing injuries and traumas out of my system, I was overlaying an inorganic construct onto my Blueprint. Training my CTF opposite to my original, natural disposition. Some intellectual concepts actually function as blockers & inhibitors to the Body's innate self-healing capacities. Instead of dialing in to direct knowledge from my Form's vast intelligence through awareness, I mis-interpreted my nature through applying compromising perspectives onto my Form.
From my experience, the term 'structural integration' elicits the perception that our Body is built similar to a house. Aiming to balance the Form from the idea of leveling & uniforming the hips, squaring the shoulders, evenly aligning the feet... This attempt for a flat, 2-dimensionally organized approach dis-honors the actual organic, chaotic, multi-dimensional nature of the Form's unique design.

WE ARE NOT BUILD LIKE A HOUSE!
By focusing on using muscular tension to hold the Body into square shapes, we are training our CTF to hold and lock in tension. This kind of muscular tension is often mistaken for building strength. Training our Blueprint this way elicits the MDS, and faulty mal-adaptive neuron-bundles to broadcast pain from deficiencies caused by locking-in existing trauma, instead of re-circuiting and clearing it.
Human Bodies are fluid, water-based organic systems of immeasurable intelligence. Overlaying false constructs of the Mind (intellectual knowledge inhibitors) create inorganic blockers that inhibit the Body's potential for Self-Healing.
TRAINING YOUR FORM HOLDING BLUEPRINT ~ (De-Conditioning & Re-Conditioning)
After years of overlaying this incorrect perspective in my self-care movement practice, I began to lock in deficiencies in my Form Holding Blueprint (CTF). The perspective of squaring the hips, making the shoulders even and pulling them down muscularly into the back. Overusing muscles to create square shapes and holding postures that limit natural range of motion. All to achieve some type of perfected alignment... This approach did nothing to re-circuit and re-store the natural breath and flow of my authentic Blueprint.
Thankfully, my quest to free my Self from my 'pain body' was decisive enough to have eventually met with the correct perspectives. Through pioneering POSITI+ve CHARGE Fascial Movement System, I am able to activate my own innate healing mechanism from within my Self, and recharge my connectivity and love of movement once again!
